Google Maps is a great service, and has allowed many useful mash-ups such as Zillow.com, a tool that is highly valued in the real estate industry.
Thanks to the implementation and ubiquity of satellite imagery, Google Maps serves up an unprecendented level of detail that Rand McNally can only dream of. Now, Google is even pushing into space.
